Art School Photography

When I first started Parsons the New School for Design in 2008. I quickly learned that becoming a Fashion Designer wasn’t for me. I loved to illustrate but hated to sew. I quickly learned how to use Photoshop and how to make my own images for myself. Back then I didn’t have a lot of money, so i wasn’t able to buy my own tripod. But I had to have a DSLR camera for school. So I would use boxes or candle holders as a “tripod,” and create these images. It was really a passion of mine and helped me cope through college being that I was so far away from my friends, and not having made many in college. Art school really isn’t for socializing lol!
